CAGC Honors Community Impact Efforts of 32 Companies

Carolinas AGC is excited to announce the winners of the 2025 CAGC Community Impact Awards program. The CAGC Community Impact Awards honor member companies that are making significant contributions to their communities through their time, actions, talents, dedication, and resources. Honorees serve as role models for compassion and service, and they strive to make their community and the communities throughout North Carolina and South Carolina better places to live and work.
The 32 CAGC Community Impact Award recipients will be honored at the Carolinas AGC Summer Summit to be held in Hilton Head in July.
Community Impact programs are recognized by:
- the size and scope of the community program/project and how it may be considered going above and beyond the call of duty;
- the organization that benefitted from the program/project;
- the impact of the program/project and how it has made a lasting or meaningful contribution or impact on their community.

Worked with Habitat for Humanity to build plumbing in tiny homes for Helene survivors.
Balfour Beatty Infrastructure
Leaving the area better than they found it by helping the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum & Heritage Center.
Barnhill Contracting Company
Helped Spring Lake Family Center by paving the much-needed driveway to their new Kinsey house.
Blythe Construction, Inc.
Hosted a golf event for Druid Hills Academy as well as hosted a Suicide Prevention Walk.
Bordeaux Construction Company
Led the Junior Contractors Program to provide an immersive learning experience for students.
Branch Group
Helped many affected by Hurricane Helene. Donated fuel and supplies and went above and beyond for employees and their families.
Civil Works Contracting LLC
Over 130 bikes donated to Weller Wheels and hours donated to personally deliver bikes to children.
Crowder Constructors
Many organizations and events supported stemming from the employees' passions and where there is a need in the community.
Crumpler Plastic Pipe
Participated in many programs to support the town of Roseboro as the town’s largest sponsor. A’Live in the Boro, BloomFest and the Christmas Parade were among a few.
Daniels & Daniels Construction Company, Inc.
Helped one of the oldest schools in the Wayne County, Fremont Stars with their mural restoration.
Edison Foard Construction
Actively cleaning up the town with the Adopt a street program at Midlakes Ave Kannapolis, NC.
Elliott Davis, LLC
Elliott Davis Cares is a volunteer initiative that has spent over 4,000 hours benefiting over 80 organizations.
Fred Smith Company
Supported the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention with their Construction Hike for Hope
Harper General Contractors
Supported the Soapstone Preservation Endowment by playing a key part in rehabilitating the historic Soapstone School.
Hood Construction
Took the time and planning to donate meals to the children at Camp STARS as part of Camp Cole.
Kiewit Infrastructure South Co.
Looked for opportunities to help Western NC locals affected by Hurricane Helene.
King Asphalt
Their Impact Program covers a wide range of things including food drives, mentoring, blood drives, and so much more.
KWest Group
“Under the Hard Hat” shares stories centered around mental health to help others feel seen, heard, and supported.
Martin Marietta
Asheboro Quarry donated over 35k tons of ABC to NC Zoological Society. Hickory Quarry served as a collection site for Hurricane Helene relief efforts. Onslow Quarry supported local law enforcement officials by providing donations and teddy bears to support children caught in difficult situations.
Mashburn Construction
Supported the local Habitat for Humanity to provide safe and stable housing for those in need.
Messer Construction Co.
Supported 400 plus nonprofit organizations including Goodwill Industries, South Carolina Children’s Theatre, and Children’s Flight of Hope.
New Atlantic Contracting
Worked with greeNest to assist families into stable housing and New Atlantic Contracting was named Home Keeper of the Year.
PivIT Strategy
Partnered with Equuvation which specializes in therapy and mental health programs. These programs focus on a holistic, community-centered mental health solution.
Reeves Construction Company
Offered Hurricane Helene relief in many ways including having employees work with Spartanburg Emergency Management and Broadway Fire Department.
Rogers Group
Was busy looking for ways to help and support in all areas of the community, whether it was education, disaster relief, or first responders and local law enforcement.
S.T. Wooten Corporation
Worked with Imagination Station Science and History Museum to actively support and encourage local children whether they are preschool age or high school age or even homeschooled.
Shook Construction
Wherever they had a project, an outreach project was done. Established their own Foundation to make sure there was a focus on giving back to their community.
Sunrock Industries
Hosted Charity Golf that benefits the Boys & Girls Club and Salvation Army. They were also part of the Durham Rescue Mission to help hurricane survivors.
United Infrastructure Group, Inc
Emergency Access Restoration which helped residents get back to their homes after the hurricane and Camp Canaan Bridge repair so the camp could continue operating safely.
Wayne Brothers
Used their 40th celebration to do 40 big projects for the community. Donating their time, funds, and expertise in many ways to give back to the community.
WB Moore
ACE Charlotte Trades Day to help students discover architecture, construction, and engineering.
Wright Brothers Construction
Took the lead coordinating relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Helene. All areas of the company were involved in helping with immediate and long-term assistance.
